PokerTek, Inc. and Carnival Cruise Lines have
announced that qualifying tournaments are underway for the fourth annual
Carnival PokerPro Challenge. Players who qualify will win a seat in the
final event held on Carnival’s newest ship, the 130,000 ton Carnival
Dream, December 3-10, 2011 where they will compete for a $50,000 first
place prize.
Carnival Splendor Resumes Year-Round Seven-Day Service from Long Beach,
Calif., February 20

After completing repairs in a San Francisco dry dock facility and
successfully undergoing sea trials, the 3,006-passenger Carnival
Splendor is now en route to its homeport of Long Beach, Calif., where it
will resume its year-round schedule of seven-day Mexican Riviera cruises
Feb. 20, 2011.

Carnival Valor Returns to Service with New Enhancements Following 14-Day

Carnival Cruise Lines has made a terrific “Fun Ship” even better. The
2,974-passenger Carnival Valor resumed Caribbean service from Miami on
February 13, following a 14-day dry dock during which a variety of
refurbishment work was completed. The ship now features a renovated

Carnival Cruise Lines Unveils Donation of Fun Centers and Laptops to
MUSC Children’s Hospital

During a recent visit by entertainment staff from the cruise ship
Carnival Fantasy to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC)
Children’s Hospital, the seagoing employees helped unveil two new
Carnival Fun Centers and two laptop computers, which were donated by the
